In a nutshell, for the issue statements shown here I
have tried to feature some of the issues I feel Utahns feel strongly about
and wish to see addressed by the representatives whom they will elect this
coming November. Left out are a myriad of concerns and issues which deserve
attention and solutions in their own right. I believe that some of the
issues that have taken the forefront in the media’s eyes are not the true
demons that we must chase. The residents of Salt Lake City deserve to hear
the real issues; the ones that will have the most impact on their families
and communities. The coming election will see a new state governor appointed
for the first time in three terms, those who represent the districts in the
legislature will have as much to do with how this new governor will direct
our state as the governor him(or her)self. I realize that the opportunity to
represent my district is an important opportunity to represent my neighbors,
friends and family. It would also be an honor.
